Puppy Health Care Schedule
8 weeks:
- Complete physical exam
- Vaccinate for DHPPC (no lepto)
- Fecal check (deworm if parasites are found)
- Begin flea control (topical only)
12 weeks:
- Vaccinate for DHLPPC (with lepto)
- Vaccinate for Bordetella
- Deworm for intestinal parasites
- Continue flea control every month
16 weeks:
- Vaccinate for DHLPPC (with lepto)
- Continue flea control every month
- Vaccinate for Rabies (one year)
6 months:
- Schedule a spay or neuter procedure and pre-anesthetic blood testing
- Microchip for permanent identification
- Continue flea control every month
Annual Care:
- Complete physical exam annually
- Vaccinate for DHLPPC (one year)
- Vaccinate for Bordetella (one year)
- Vaccinate for Rabies (three years)
- Fecal checks or deworming are recommended yearly
- Continue flea control every month
Kitten Health Care Schedule
8 weeks:
- Complete physical exam
- Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus test
- Vaccinate for FVRCP
- Vaccinate for FIV (outdoor packages only)
- Fecal check (deworm if parasites are found)
- Begin flea control (topical only)
12 weeks:
- Vaccinate for FVRCP and FELV
- Vaccinate for FIV (outdoor packages only)
- Deworm for intestinal parasites
- Continue flea control every month
16 weeks:
- Vaccinate for Rabies (one year)
- Vaccinate for FVRCP and FELV
- Vaccinate for FIV (outdoor packages only)
- Continue flea control every month
6 months:
- Schedule a spay or neuter procedure and pre-anesthetic blood testing
- Microchip for permanent identification
- Continue flea control every month
